I have not been blogging for a while, but in December I most likely will get back into it. What is special about December? This:
I will finally test what it will be like to be a full-time writer, and I will do so for four weeks in London and then for six weeks in Winchester. I did not really expect to spend such a long time in London, I actually wanted to go to Oxford, as Oxford is quite important for Tolkien fans. However, London turned out to be cheaper accommodation-wise (that was a surprise to me!). London is a good choice though as the Hobbit world premiere will be in London and I will finally get to meet some other Middle Earth fans.
I am a bit nervous though. London is huge, and there are so many people!
If you have ever been in London, what would you recommend visiting apart from the typical tourist stops (which I kind of want to avoid)? What are the best places in London?
